History

The Memorial Healthcare Foundation's commitment to the community began in 1993, when input from several community leaders, started its commitment to raising funds for the hospital expansion, capital equipment purchases, supporting education through scholarships and community programming.

The Foundation holds an annual dinner/auction most recently held in March. From a dinner & take away auction of fun items & raffle tickets, it has evolved into a $100 minimum value take away auction, silent auction, raffles, mystery cedar chest raffle and a key sale featuring a piece of fine jewelry.

The Foundation golf tournament, held at Lake Arrowhead is in June each year, weather permitting. This 18-hole best-ball tournament is an annual outing for many golfers at one of the finest courses in Wisconsin. Tournament Registration Form

The Tree of Life in the front lobby of the hospital was donated by Jerry & Elaine Kotek at the time of the 1995/1996 addition. The Tree was moved into the new hospital lobby and continues to provide an opportunity to donate in memory of someone who has passed on. Print donation form -or- Donate Online Now

A more recently added fundraising event is Casino Night typically held at Lake Arrowhead in January. This fun-filled night is limited to only 150 people.

Feeling it was time for change, expansion, and exploration of new options the Foundation Board expanded from seven members to twenty to create a broader community base. Members are from several businesses and occupations, all supporting the mission and vision of the Foundation. Standing committees are Fund Raising, Finance, Nominating, Public Relations, and Recognition whose members include Foundation Board members, community members and staff from MMH&C.
