Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Memorial Healthcare Foundation?
Founded in 1993, the Memorial Healthcare Foundation is comprised of community leaders committed to making decisions that secure the future of Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics. The Foundation financially supports hospital projects based on the needs of the Adams County community.

Who does Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics serve?
The hospital's service area includes the majority of Adams County, over 15,000 residents. Our local hospital serves your family, friends, and neighbors.

Are gifts to the Memorial Healthcare Foundation tax deductible?
Yes. The state of Wisconsin and the federal government encourage voluntary support of foundations through liberal deduction allowances. All gifts are tax deductible within state and federal laws.

How much should I give? Are gifts other than cash accepted?
Only you can decide how much to give. There are several options for giving available including immediate donations or planning your gift for the future, such as a bequest through your will. We ask that you consider the importance of having local state-of-the-art healthcare available to your family, friends and neighbors when they need it.

Why should businesses, industry, and corporations give to the Foundation on behalf of Moundview Memorial Hospital & Clinics?
Local healthcare is so important to a community. Businesses and corporations recruiting employees to our area will highlight the fact that a local emergency department facility is available and that the hospital has patient-friendly clinic services staffed with qualified physicians and employees.

Can I volunteer to help the Foundation?
By all means. We need and would appreciate your help. Please call Tammy Lowrey, Foundation Coordinator, at (608) 339-8328 or by e-mail at mhfoundation@moundview.org.
